When we look at people in our surroundings, we can easily find a large number of people wearing glasses. It is commonly known that glasses are for correction of eyesight but glasses, although useful as temporary correction of vision, they can’t stop eye deterioration. If your eyes are affected in one way or the other and you use glasses to correct your eyesight then I can say that you are having a problem with your eyesight and instead of correcting it you are using glasses to mask it. Although glasses return your visual acuity but they can’t provide you with a permanent solution.
Stress is the main reason of damaging your eyes. If you are an avid reader, you should take breaks while reading because continuous stress on eyes causes damage to the eye muscles which are weakened over time. Moreover reduced blinking in this time causes dryness of the eyes which as a result can cause damage to outer parts of eyeballs.
Very less number of people knows that eyesight and food are interlinked. I am not saying that you should start eating animal eyes to increase your eyesight, it is definitely not likely but if you take nutritious diet, you are definitely benefited because in this way you get adequate nutrients for your body. These nutrients also strengthen your immune system and protect your body against infections which may affect your eyesight.
Like rest of the body, eyes also need some nutrients for normal functioning. Vitamin A is very important for this purpose because eye pigments are made from Vitamin A. People who are on Vitamin A deficient diet for months usually suffer from a condition known as night blindness. Thanks to modern fast food which is usually deficient in vitamins and minerals and hence affects human body considerably. You should take in Radish and apples because they are rich sources of Vitamin A. If you don’t like fruits and vegetables, you can add dietary supplements in your diet to fulfill the needs of your body regarding Vitamins and minerals.
You should take protein rich diet because on one hand it helps in manufacturing the immune proteins to fight against infections, on the other hand these proteins are also used to strengthen protein manufacturing of the body because the basic building blocks for this manufacturing are known as amino acids, which are acquired from external protein sources.
