A person who is on diet deficient in lutein, for several months is under imminent danger of weakening of eyesight. Once blood vessels of eyes are protected from deterioration and getting blocked, eyes can have appropriate blood supply and can function well. Specific type of fatty acids known as Omega 3 fatty acids is beneficial for our eyes. Oily fish, mackerel and salmon are rich in this fatty acid.

A large number of old people suffer from cataracts. It is now known that foods rich in Vitamin C are very helpful in preventing cataracts. Oranges, guava and lemons are very rich in this Vitamin and it is important for you to add these fruits in your diet.] All these food supplements can improve your eyesight to a great extent.
